Jewelry Display as Art - I Had To Get One!

Check out these rad jewelry display pieces! I love them and I had to get one! They are repurposed vintage printing drawers (as if I needed another reason to love them). I love how you can see everything at once and easily try on and replace jewelry right on the little hooks. Another thing..a woman in Louisville, KY makes them - which is where I was born - so you can see, I couldn't not buy one:)

love.

Anthropologie Wedding Gowns - Yes Please!

What?! Anthropologie is doing wedding gowns?! Let me say, that I have no plans to walk down the isle but I am still thrilled at this news! A Cup of Joe (favorite blog btw) writer got invited for a sneak peak at the collection. How cool is that?!?! A side note:: don't you wish you got such invites?!! Anyway, the collection is stunning and I can't wait to see what else they do! I heart Anthropologie.

Vintage Pony Facelift

I found this little rocking horse at the Rabbit Hole here in Portland. They have some great vintage furniture and great prices! I thought the paint was a bit ugly on this guy but I liked him just the same. My daughter loves anything she can climb or ride on...so I thought for $35 why not just give him a makeover!

Instant Artwork

Now that Olive is old enough to color without eating the crayons it's one of her favorite things to do! I have all of these little canvas that I bought before for another project and didn't finish. Well, I found a way to use one of them! Simple kid art.

You just need some cute ribbon, glue, a canvas and media of your choice. In our case (where paint is still pretty messy) we just used regular crayons.
After she colored the canvas, I just glued the ribbon all around to look a little more finished.
easy peasy!

Toddler Table Redo

So, I was under the weather this past week and pretty much stuck in the house for awhile. I was going stir crazy and itching for a project. I found this one (among a few others that I will post later:). How could I have not thought of it before? My baby's toddler table totally needed a stylish makeover!
All I needed was some pretty spray paint, modge podge and some hip scrapbook paper...(and a small amount of patience)
..a few hours later and tah dah! a new table! I love it!
