Studio Makeover!

So, we were going to move, then we weren't moving, then we decided to stay in our house for a very long time after all. Because of the possible transition, I haven't really set up our space as well as I'd like to. So, I decided that I will "makeover" every room in my house (to some degree) - starting with my studio! It was in need of some serious organization and cheer, especially now since it's not only me working in here all the time....
Here it is before:

messy mess mess
and now after!

So clean and organized (thanks Lacey!!!)Now on to the next projects:)

Transformation

I love watching beads transform into jewelry! I like to lay out the supplies first for orders so it's easy to just go down the line and make them one by one. Here is a life of a bead at harlow.

First, a tray of beads...
Then, they start to transform into necklaces...
And then chains are added....and here it is!
and more....
Off they go to the store to sit pretty and wait for someone to love them:)

Studio Re-do

Instead of relaxing last night as planned, I decided to re-do my studio instead. It's a project that's been on my list, so here is my progress so far.  Here is before:

another before...(I forgot to take photos until I'd moved the furniture in the middle of the room already)

and after
I painted and rearranged this and the rest of the basement. Whew, a lot of work! Now we are working on making this amazing DIY bed by this weekend. I can't wait! To be continued!!

Summer harlow

The harlow Summer Line is almost out! (and isn't this model just adorable!?!) I'm working on getting everything on the website today and I'm super excited about it! It's my favorite line yet - full of gorgeous blue and green gemstones I found in Tucson this year.  I've not seen some of these gemstone colors before and I'm pretty much in love with them:) Check it out!

All Dressed Up and No Where To Go!

Rookie Parent Alert! I was so excited to take Olivia to the Easter egg hunts on Easter! She would have a blast. I had my eye on the event at the zoo, complete with a petting zoo...Too bad all of the Easter egg events were on SATURDAY and not on Easter sunday. I had no idea. She wore her pretty dress anyway and played with her Easter basket and empty eggs:( At least I will have it down for next year when she actually will understand what is going on.
