CAMPING!

Just a few photos from our camping trip last weekend. And here is a confession...I have never been camping before until last week. I LOVED it! who knew?? Next time we will bring more blankets and maybe a playmate for Olive:)

Olives Big Girl Room

We've been working on re-doing Olive's room as a big girl room. It still needs a little tweaking but it's shaping up pretty cute. Here are some photos of her old baby room..

This is a dresser we repainted before she was born. It used to be a dark walnut color.

Here is the big girl bed! It's a 100 year old bed we got at a garage sale. It was cream colored with gold accents and we painted it orange. It's hard to tell but it's a full size bed. I love the curved head and foot boards! I haven't found the perfect bedspread yet, so this one is a placeholder.

New Favorites

I found these beauties at the LA Gift show from another vendor ERS Creative. I'm pretty much in love with all 3. They're bronze and silver. They stack. and they are so pretty.

Party Favors!

Olive just turned 3! In all of our traveling, we had to squeeze in (and plan) a birthday party for our favorite person. For party favors, I wanted to give balloons, since the kids always ask to take them home at the end of the party in years past. I found these cute animals at Michael's for $1 each! No bag filling with little plastic toys that end up all around the house and eventually in the garbage. party favors, done.

Seattle and LA trip!

We were traveling to shows most of Jan and are finally home! (but I have a solo trip next week to get gems - yay!) We had so much fun! Here is a little bit of our trip...
